But after reading "Born to Run" I don't know what to think about shoes!Lindsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08062820795826658714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1866352341588565846.post-22697425402583559492012-04-09T21:10:30.440-06:002012-04-09T21:10:30.440-06:00See, that seems more reasonable. I justify it by ...See, that seems more reasonable. I justify it by telling myself that I can't let the shoes go "bad", or it will damage my knees or something. They do lose their cushioning and support after about 300-500 miles, supposedly. :)Priscillahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02994751800920572002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1866352341588565846.post-35627659359606665452012-04-09T21:08:33.983-06:002012-04-09T21:08:33.983-06:00Haha! Like if my husband was really into hunting or something, I'd probably get annoyed at too many guns or too much hunting gear, but running shoes, eh? Not so bad.

And by the way, YOU were pushing a stroller and wrangling a dog on your run. It really doesn't matter how fast you go, unless you are earnestly trying to win something, like your speedy husband! The rest of us regular people run for fun, right? :)Priscillahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02994751800920572002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1866352341588565846.post-64803570002823845112012-04-09T20:23:17.205-06:002012-04-09T20:23:17.205-06:00Well, I'm not a runner, so my answer probably ...Well, I'm not a runner, so my answer probably doesn't count. Just one pair for actually running and one for all other forms of working out.Lindsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08062820795826658714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1866352341588565846.post-32289209466597871942012-04-09T20:11:17.427-06:002012-04-09T20:11:17.427-06:00Haha your run/walk was faster than my run! Great ...Haha your run/walk was faster than my run! Great job on 9.2 miles!

As for the shoes...I'm pretty good about keeping only two pair at a time. I have my regular running shoes, and when I replace them, I use them as regular tennis shoes for hiking, walking, etc. and throw away the previous pair that had been demoted to walkers.

My HUSBAND, on the other hand, is exactly like you. He has at least two pairs of trail shoes, several pairs of road shoes, cross country spikes, racing flats...and then at least three pairs of biking shoes. He also hides them under the bed, but that is my fault because my shoes (non-running shoes) cover both halves of the closet.Janhttp://www.imrunningonfumes.comnoreply@blogger.com
